Right now our lives are consumed with visiting Landry in the NICU which means little time for blogging. I have been trying to catch up on the blogs I read daily & boy have I missed so much! I have a list of things to do when we get back home. We are staying with my sister who lives only 10 minutes from the hospital versus our hour drive from our home.
Landry is doing amazing! She now weighs 4 pounds 9 ounces & is taking 3 bottles a day! All her other feeds are done through her NG tube. We are hoping to speak with her doctor about his plan of care for her over the next two weeks. She has reached her weight limit to go home but needs to be feeding on demand before they'll actually discharge her. We are a bit confused about how it all works so we've put together a list of questions for them.
She is changing every single day and actually starting to look a little chubby! She is the most pleasant baby & loves to be rocked! I am having a hard time being separated from her but trying to deal with it the best way I can because I know she needs to be there. There is nothing natural about leaving the hospital without your baby. We know how blessed we are so I feel guilty for complaining. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts & prayers!

oh, she is so beautiful. Truly. I don't know the whole story, or Parker's story, but...I don't know...I can feel your happiness and gratefulness. Seeing Landry makes me want to hug my boys just a bit tighter tonight.
ReplyDeleteStumbled on your blog when I saw it on the mustard ceiling. I am also a farmer's wife.
